SET UP A VPN CONNECTION

Way to connect to a VPN (Virtual Private Network) server from Windows XP.

• Go to control panel.
• Goto “Network Connections”—>New Connection Wizard.
• Click Next then Check ‘Connect to the network at my workplace’.
• Check “Virtual Private Network Connection”.
• Give anything as Company Name.
• Check “Automatically Dial this Initial Connection” and select your default internet connection from the list.
• Give host name as ‘pptp.<hostname>.com’.     [Example "linkideo" ,"relakks"]
• Click on ‘Finish’ [Check "Create a shortcut on my desktop"]
• Launch the pptp client from the desktop shortcut.Give your registered vpn username and password and click “connect”.
• CONGRATZ YOU ARE CONNECTED..!
